By design, this is one of the best weather apps for iOS, if not the best. However, it needs a couple of things to earn 5 stars: - needs a better data provider for the Americas. I think Accuweather would be a great data provider for this app. - Needs more detailed screens for people to meaningfully plan activities, and also to be on par with other apps. E.g., we need an hourly forecast (not every 3 hrs) for temp., real feel, precipitation amount, etc., and it should go 36 hrs into the future. Also, we need humidity info in the daily forecast, and daily forecast should cover at least 15 days.

Intellicast most often agrees with my trusted local weatherdude. The *terse* smaller widget is nice. I didn't find the text summary until I played around: appreciated. I've researched and found that Weather Underground and Intellicast are "owned" by the Weather Channel, so it's a matter of taste (virtually) as to which app you choose for accurate weather these days… I chose eWeather for speed and GUI

One of the two weather tools I use everyday, and is my "technical" app for when I want a forecast with good details. Has the option to get the weather forecast data from more than one source. (You see this as 2 separate forecasts; like you would for 2 different locations). Like a lot of weather apps, there is a "weather at glance" page, however, there also a 'details' page where this app really stands out. With graphs and trend lines, when I'm trying to understand what the weather is doing this is where I go. The radar page is accurate and can be run in a loop to see movement, unlike some other apps. I have used this for several years and it never disappoints. Recommended to all my friends, now I am recommending it to you. You should buy this app.

This is a visually impressive app. A lot of info is presented in its clock face. It is a really attractive display! That is important because I have an older iPad (1) on a wall mount in my kitchen AND this app still runs on iOS 5.1! (Both portrait and landscape orientation on iPad) This gives me a really cool weather display (or photo stream slideshow) while using a functionally obsolete iPad that still has years of life left. It has also become my main weather app on phone and mini: a lot of info in a glance. Tons of detail available in a deeper dig. Radar display modes are really nice. Thanks for reading.

I've tried quite a few weather apps, but this is by far the best. It provides current temp (as well as predicted highs and lows for the current and next few days), precipitation, humidity, and wind speed and direction. Fluctuations in barometric pressure are displayed on a graph. I used this to track whether baro pressure correlated with my migraines and found out it is one of my biggest triggers! I have several different locations entered so I can just scroll through to see what to expect in different parts of the state or country... and if I'm in a new area, I can just tell the app to use my current location. Thank you for creating such a helpful app; I would be lost without it!

Been using for about a week, since Yahoo decided to throw ads in their weather app. What a find!! Lots of useful weather info, nice interface, and so far, pretty accurate. Only thing I've noticed is sometimes you will get a weather alert notification and when you go in the app, there is nothing on the Alerts section. Not sure why that is, but that's why I gave it four out of five. Other than that, one of the best weather apps out there!

It took me a while to figure a few things out but when I did I am really loving this app. I have been using it for about three weeks and I am still finding more and more things that this app offers. It is well worth the upgrade for the quality and forethought that goes into this app. There is one thing that it doesn't have that Yahoo has and that is the The beautiful photographs in the background. However, since Yahoo went with enormous ads without any warning or opt out option, I can live without the pictures.

It even has weather radar for the US and earthquake reports for the entire globe. I was tempted to get a more basic and usual weather app but I am glad I chose this one. It is pretty cool looking and totally functional. Even better with the update.

I use this app the time to plan my day and even my week or sometimes longer. It's by far the most accurate for my location & are crazy changes by the moment in one day weather. I love how far in advance I can see the predicted forecast. It alerts me to various conditions from air stagnation, heat advisory, dangerous road conditions, and everything in between. I can see the days forecast or hourly by just clicking a button. I love the graphics on the app but wished I could make it a bit bigger to fill my screen, I like looking at them. The weather pressures affect my injured body and I can see ahead of time to prepare myself for needed care I haven't found on other apps. It's very easy the maneuver through the various features. I do wish it had a help section to show how features work or are located, I found them by simply exploring my app. My local weatherman is usually spot on but sometimes he misses changes or is off in his future cast but my app has yet to steer me wrong & updates regularly so I know I'm always getting the latest forecast. I recommend this app to all my friends and family.

This is the one that always works. It is accurate, has all the info, easy to read and work and doesn't stall when it really gets cold like today. I cannot recommend this app too highly. It would be really great if you could adapt it for my iMAC. That's the one thing Macs don't have. Their weather apps are terrible. Please let me know if you could do this.

Update 1-6-15.... The radar appears to use a very high tilt. It will show no precipitation but actually there is. Please fix this. Even if you go to a composite it would be better than the high tilt that is currently used. The information is relevant and correct most of the time. I would like to see a landscape mode especially for radar.

1) on my I-pad2 & mini3 - it allows you list and select communities + National Parks. I-pad2, I'm able to select a national park and get the correct location. Great. Problem: when I use my min3. It will not locate the National park correctly on the map. It will instead locate the last community I last viewed. So 5 stars for my I-Pad2 & 2 stars for the mini3 until it's fixed.

An outstanding Weather App with high def radar! The 24 hour widget is great for planning your outdoor day... Spot on for Temp, Precip & Wind timing. 10 day forward look is great for planning the week. Other apps try, but this one is usually "right there"! I like the Current Temp Badge on the screen icon - nice feature. Radar would be much better with much better with a 5 hour Future Precip look - I need to go to "Storm Team Weather" for that. The high def radar map is great. My "Go To" App for a quick update on "what's coming".

I've been using this for the last six months and it is my go to weather app everyday. Loaded with all the information I need and then some! I even programed in a list of cities where family lives to keep track of their weather conditions, too. This app is also great for tracking the weather when I am out camping with my son's Boy Scout troop (which we will be doing again in three weeks!) Get this app and start getting a hand on the weather - being prepared and aware of your local weather conditions is a must for everyone. Highly recommended!

I definitely give this app 5 stars. I travel a lot in foreign countries and have so far never been in a place where I couldn't get the weather. It's very important for me to know what clothes to take for a short trip and generally the weather reports are very accurate. This is a great weather app, nice radar and a ton of a ton of weather information, usually most apps look pretty but have little information or look bland and have a bunch of info, this app is a great mix of both and even has a nice detailed text version of the forecast. We live in the country in North Texas where weather can change quickly, so current radar & forecasts are imperative. This app provides all I need for this area, plus the same info for cities where our kids live. I keep the current temp on my iPhone home screen, & during storms I have radar on the iPad. The graphics are incredible, & the data to back them up is rich & as accurate as your local TV forecast. Weather warnings, recent earthquakes, & Amber alerts are also available. Weather is accurate and updated frequently through one of two weather stations. Reminds me of the old Beweather apps on blackberry with all of the customizable options. The highlight feature is the red blip that updates the temperature on the home page. This makes you enter the app less frequently. I didn't purchase this app for its aesthetics, but for its functionality. It delivers both for a low cost. The hourly display is really intuitive and you're able to change between options easily. Highly recommended.

There are a lot of different weather apps out there, with different features and different graphics. However, none of them can match the comprehensiveness of information that this app has. Every sort of weather information that you are looking for anywhere in the United States is available, plus time elapsed radar and regional weather warnings. As a truck driver, I drive all over the country, and this is one of my most used apps. As a matter of fact, I don't know what I'd do without it, and I don't think there is any other Weather app on the market that could come close to do what I need. In other words, this app does it all! If you are on the fence about different weather apps, stop here, you have found the one!
